Description

Core Responsibilities

Safe Operation:

Safely operate a bus, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Route Adherence:

Drive passengers along pre-determined routes and maintain the scheduled timetable.
Passenger Assistance:

Help passengers, including those with disabilities or elderly individuals, get on and off the bus safely.
Customer Service:

Provide information about routes, schedules, and fares, and ensure a comfortable and safe environment for passengers.
Vehicle Maintenance:

Perform daily vehicle inspections to check for mechanical issues, and ensure the bus is kept clean and well-maintained.

Key Duties

Conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Following a specific route and schedule.
Collecting fares and issuing tickets.
Assisting passengers with luggage or other belongings.
Communicating with dispatchers or other drivers about delays or incidents.
Reporting any vehicle issues, accidents, or safety concerns.
Maintaining the cleanliness and sanitary condition of the bus.

Qualifications & Skills

A valid driver's license.
A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is often preferred or required.
Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Physical ability to assist passengers and occasionally lift heavy items.
Willingness to undergo drug screening and background checks.

Requirements

must have a valid driver's license for last 10 years
must pass drug test
